11x14 Acrylic on Wood Panel
Celebrating the strength and beauty of a big day out in the mountains, featuring a grizzly under Granite Peak.
The first time I laid eyes on Granite Peak, the high point of Montana, I was with two of my best girl friends at sunrise. We had hiked along the rocky plateau for hours until we were greeted by a magnificent sunrise, casting the brightest glow onto the summit ahead. The long climb ensued, and we were granted safe passage and the bluest, calmest summit skies I’ve ever experienced. This piece is a little celebration of that trip.
