Inspired by the Poppy

A flower steeped in history, lore, and fantasy, The Poppy feels deeply connected to the dreamlike worlds that have inspired this summer's collection. Its impossibly bright petals, quiet resilience, and ability to lie dormant until just the right moment have long captivated me.

This year, the local poppies bloomed larger and more abundantly than I can remember. What has always felt like a flower borrowed from distant worlds, old storybooks, and half-remembered dreams suddenly appeared right here at home.

What a gift it is to be in awe of something so ordinary. To be reminded that the magic of life is not hidden away in far-off lands, but blooming proudly in our own backyard.

  • Since my last online collection this spring, I've created some of my favorite pieces to date. While I had planned to share a much larger Summer Collection, I'm incredibly grateful that many of these paintings found homes with collectors at my early summer shows. Their support has been deeply humbling, and many of those pieces will now be available as limited edition prints.

    What remains is a smaller collection of Original Paintings that I’ve worked day and night to complete over the past several weeks, but a collection I am just as proud of.

  • I always love seeing my paintings as prints for the first time. By using the highest quality pigment inks on museum quality paper, these giclée prints show every texture and brushstroke.

    I photograph each painting in my backyard, lit by the sunlight. After printing, they are lovingly packaged with my own two hands.

    All works of art in this collection have been transformed into signed and numbered Limited Edition Prints.

  • Turning my art into wearable designs is quite the in-depth process. The painting comes first, of course. Then, I digitally transform the piece, adding text, tweaking the composition, and making the graphic bold enough to stand alone on a tee shirt.

    The Apparel in this collection features some of my favorite paintings reimagined onto modern cut cotton tees.
