Sometimes the most unassuming combination of creatures become friends. I have an angsty, rescued, 70lb pit mix dog who pretty much wants NOTHING to do with other dogs, except for his best friend who happens to be my sister’s little shih tzu. They are a strange pair, but I am so grateful he has a friend. This piece celebrates the nature of curious but fulfilling friendships.
