Sometimes I look over to my dog on a Monday morning and say “damn, I wish I was a dog who didn’t have a job, didn’t pay rent, had nothing to worry about besides where my next toy is coming from.” Then I take a deep breath, practice some gratitude, and take a lesson from him: sometimes the most productive thing we can do is feel the sunshine, and take a nap.
