Waiting For Spring Original
During one of the sub zero days this winter, I went for a neighborhood drive to spot all the creatures in my town to see how they were doing in the cold. I snapped a picture of my neighbor’s horse, basking in the warm rays of the sun. I knew I had to paint him! I took the artistic liberty in changing the pattern of his horse blanket to show off some spring colors to represent the hope of warmer days to come. This piece comes in a hand painted dusty blue ornate frame.
16×20 acrylic on canvas, framed.
